PETER GUNTHER [Associate]
For the past 25 years, Mr. Gunther has worked with Central Wisconsin clients in the areas of: creditor and debtor issues, domestic relations/family law including children's' issues and elder law, wills, estates and estate planning, real estate and landlord-tenant, criminal and traffic cases, workers compensation, labor and employment issues; disability and school law.
He enjoys researching the law and writing legal briefs and has presented various collection law and estate planning programs. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Coalition for Advocacy and serves the community through Kiwanis, disability advocacy and his church. Mr. Gunther employs a proactive and comprehensive approach in seeking real and practical solutions to legal challenges. He supports clients in exploring all aspects of their situations, utilizing appropriate resources.
He attended the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School, graduating with honors in 1978, with a J.D. degree and an M.A. in Public Administration, and Dartmouth College, graduating magna cum laude in 1971. Mr. Gunther is a member of the State and Marathon County Bar, and is admitted to practice in all of the state courts of Wisconsin and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He served as a Law Clerk for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and as a Lieutenant JG in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
