RICHARD J. WEBER [Of Counsel]
Mr. Weber has had more than 42 years experience practicing law in Wisconsin. He has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts, having tried a wide variety of cases throughout Wisconsin and has handled many matters on appeal. Mr. Weber, although semi-retired, continues to have an active practice with emphasis on municipal law, mediation, arbitration and general office practice.
He graduated from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota with a B. A. Degree in Accounting with honors, and received his law degree from Marquette University where he was assistant editor of the Marquette Law Review. Before beginning his practice in Wausau, Mr. Weber was a law clerk for Justice E. Harold Hallows of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He later became a member of the state of Wisconsin Judicial Council serving as its chairman in 1980-l981. He has been a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Law School General Practice Course, a past president of the Marathon County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Wisconsin Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Marathon County Bar Association. He is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America."
